Namwianga Farm
Welcome to Namwianga Farm – Growing with Purpose
Namwianga Farm is more than just a place to grow crops and raise animals—it’s a vital part of the ongoing mission to support the schools and ministries at Namwianga. The farm’s goal is to generate income and provide food, all while offering hands-on learning opportunities for students.

Harvesting Hope with Every Crop
Thanks to rich soil and a dependable rainy season, maize crops flourish at Namwianga Farm. The harvested grain feeds livestock and is also sold to help fund ministry efforts—turning every harvest into hope.
Bringing Back the Cows to Rebuild the Herd
For years the Namwianga Farm's cattle herd provided milk and beef for the students. Cattle were also given to support a nearby community of blind residents. However, during the recent droughts, the farm was forced to reduce its cattle herd. Now, efforts are underway to rebuild the her and bring back the cows—with the goal of increasing both milk and beef production. Restoring the herd will enhance the farm’s ability to feed students and contribute to the mission’s sustainability.
Garden-Fresh Goodness, Grown with Care
Drip-irrigated gardens supply fresh vegetables for the dining halls at both the secondary school and college. These gardens serve double duty: nourishing students and serving as outdoor classrooms. High school and college students work in the gardens, gaining valuable, real-world agricultural skills that will benefit them for a lifetime.
Feathered Friends Feeding the Future
Chickens raised on the farm provide an important source of food for students. Plans are in place to expand this program by introducing laying hens, enabling year-round egg production to further support the schools.
A Mission That Grows
Namwianga Farm is where hard work meets heart work. Every seed planted and every animal raised helps nourish bodies, strengthen the community, and support the future leaders of Zambia. Today, the farm continues to play a key role in supplementing operational costs for the mission, while feeding the schools and ministries that are changing lives every day.
