What We Do
Zambia Mission Fund oversees the work of Namwianga Mission, a 6000-acre center for education, evangelism and humanitarian aid in the Southern Province of Zambia. Namwianga is home to a secondary school, hospital, radio station, orphan care homes, two colleges, and a working farm. Zambia Mission Fund and Namwianga are affiliated with the Churches of Christ.
Take A Look at What's Happening

Good News!
A Christmas Day storm destroyed the roof of a Namwianga Christian Secondary School girls' dorm. When young people in America attending the Challenge Youth Conference (CYC) heard about this need, they gave generously to fund a new roof for the dorm. CYC Director Larry Davenport presented a check from the Challenge Youth Conference to Zambia Mission Fund (ZMF) to pay for the new roof. Members of the ZMF American Board Education Committee accepted the check.

Clean Delivery Kits save the lives of mothers and babies. Each kit comes with simple easy-to-use items that can prevent infections--infections that can cause maternal or infant deaths. The kits are given to women who may not have access to a hospital or clinic for labor and delivery. A donation of just $10 provides two kits. Many donations are made to honor loved ones for Mother's Day. A Mother's Day card with a notice of your gift will be sent to the one you honor.

Namwianga Mission distributes free wheelchairs to those who cannot walk. Most of these wheelchairs are built on-site from locally available parts. These chairs are sturdy and made specifically for rural conditions. Each wheelchair changes a life by providing mobility and dignity. We also partner with other organizations to distribute pediatric/specialty wheelchairs and Personal Energy Transport (PET) carts.

Jonathan Moonga, Mission Caretaker
Life is simple in the Mission. I do my job out of love. I’m also motivated by attending chapel whenever I have a chance to do so. In Namwianga Mission I meet godly men and women whose lives are living testimony of how we ought to live. Namwianga has given me hope for eternity.
